Maria is 23 years old. Maria dreams of helping and curing people as a nurse just like Jesus helped and cured people. she has 4 siblings and 8 people live in her home. Her father has given her a beautiful example of work ethic, as he teaches elementary school even though he only has a high school level education. Her mother helps support the family by selling produce in the market.
Maria is the first in her family to attend university.
