Madelena is 24 years old and lost both her parents in a car accident in 2021. Our scholarship program exists because of students like her. She now lives with her widowed, 86-year-old grandmother who sells charcoal to make ends meet. Madelena dreams of being a nurse and we are very happy to support her in this effort.

With this scholarship, she has received a lap top and can come into our office any working hours to charge up and get access to the internet.
